M.A.M.S is a non-profit organization. Our members build and operate model aircraft, boats and trains. We are based at Brayshaw Park, Blenheim NZ, having our Clubrooms, Miniature Railway, and Model Boat pond there as shown on the site map below. Running days for the Miniature Railway and model boats are on the 1st and 3rd Sundays each month from 1pm to 4pm weather permitting. The Model Aircraft Section of MAMS operates at a Flying site leased from the Marlborough District Council beside the Wairau river near Tuamarina, club power flying days are Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday mornings (9am to 12 noon), and Glider flying Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The Model Engineering section build and operate Model Trains and take passenger ride on the first and third Sunday each month 1pm to 4pm.
The model Boating section operate model power boats and sailing boats on the boat pond at Brayshaw Park
The Model Aircraft Section Fly at an Airfield near Tuamarina, Sunday morning being the main power flying session and Saturday morning being the main Glider flying session
MAMS Model Engineering and Boating Sections are at Brayshaw Heritage Park which is accessed off Arthur Baker Place.

If you are interested in joining MAMS you can come along to see our activities and meet the members. Model boats and trains operate at the Club Base at Brayshaw Park on the first and third Sunday each month, and model aircraft fly at the club model airfield near Tuamarina. See individual section pages for more details.
Membership application forms can be obtained from committee members (see contacts page). You can give the application to a committee member or post it to the address on the form.
Membership application forms will be presented at the Committee Meeting for acceptance (The committee meets on the second Tuesday each month).
MAMS Membership and Subscription Structure
Subscriptions are set by the AGM in April each year. Members may belong to any or all of the following Sections, for one Ordinary Membership fee:
Engineering - Boating - Flying.
Ordinary Membership (all Sections) $ 60
Family membership $ 65
Junior Member (16 years old or younger) $ 40
Country Member (+40km from Blenheim) $ 40
(Flying Section members must join MFNZ for an additional annual fee of: Senior $105 Family $110 Junior $0.)
Subs and Fees are paid to MAMS KiwiBank account 38-9026-0307933-00
Subscription Policy: Financial membership shall cease if the required subscription fee has not been paid by the 31st of July. Non-financial members are not covered by our insurance policy and therefore cannot operate their models at our designated sites, and they do not receive a Newsletter.
NOTE: MFNZ Fees are to be paid by 31 March each year, to maintain continuous membership and insurance cover.
